Here in Florida, we have been enjoying a very mild winter with days reaching into the mid-80s. This has Mother Nature really discombobulated! The pine pollen is in flourish and plants we wouldn't even look for until March are sprouting. So is it Spring? Not quite, but soon!
This card for this week's Cutting Cafe project was done with the Overalls Shaped Card Cutting File.
Materials and technique: Card base cut with cutting file from white card stock, Card top cut from denim pattern paper, pocket and cuff accessories cut from gingham pattern paper, heart accessory cut from red, white, and blue dotted pattern paper. The stitching was done with my Janome Sew Mini. The tiny buttons are doll clothes accessories.
Our Aunt Irma loves overall cards, so I think we'll send this her way for Valentine's Day. BTW, the little farmer mice are from the Wee Forest Folk, Peterson family collection.
I'm hoping that the promise of Springtime is just around the corner for you, too.
