Pat Boone

Okay, show of hands.  Who remembers Pat Boone?  "On a day like today, we passed the hours away, writing LOVE LETTERS in the sand. . ."  For some reason I'm providing a host for that ear worm today with my The Cutting Cafe design for this week.  The Design Team is using "Feb 14 Printable Stamp Set."

Bo Bunny Love Letters Designer Paper, The Cutting Cafe Feb 14 Printable Stamp Set, Derwent Inktense art pencils, aquapainter, ribbon, metallic sticky heart.

I created my card base by printing one of the text files from the Feb 14 set onto a design from the Bo Bunny 6 x 6 paper pad.  Then I selected the heart flower pot image from the same set and saved it as a JPEG in my photo editing program. This allowed me to import it into my Silhouette SD software and use the print and cut feature.  I used my Christmas present from my DH, a box of 72 Derwent Inktense art pencils, to color the flower pot and little hearts, softening the colors with my aquapainter.  I then paper-pieced a heart shape from the Bo Bunny Papers and added a ribbon and metallic heart.  The card is mounted on khaki cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look.  Now, I'm going to go back to the stamp table, and I guess Pat Boone will be there serenading me for quite awile!
