Rock and Roll

A little segue this week--moving from Pat Boone--to K.I.S.S.  You know-- "I wanna rock and roll all night, and party every day. . ."  Well, not actually K.I.S.S. but kiss-es!  Whole bags of 'em.  I've used the Heart Bag Cutting File and Template and Hershey Kiss Valentine Bottoms for this week's assignment from The Cutting Cafe.

I found some really cute, bright and cheerful Designer Cardstock by Recollections at Michael's. I used those papers in my Silhouette SD to cut the bags with Make The Cut software, importing the included SVG.  The heart cut-out is part of the template, along with the frame heart.  I used a border punch to scallop the tops of two of the bags, opting not to use the included handle.  For the other bag, I folded over the top and punched two holes just under the fold and ran a ribbon through them.  The heart cut outs have a rectangle of clear treat bag cellophane glued inside.  Some of the kisses have sayings on them, printed on sticker paper from the Hershey Kiss Bottoms color PDF.  A 3/4" punch works really well to cut the designs from the sticker paper.  My finished bags measure 4 inches by 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches.

I think I'll take these up to the 3rd grade teachers at my local elementary school on Valentine's Day.
